Why is my ipod so quiet?
I have an Ipod nano 3rd generation. I’ve had it for about 1 year + and have noticed that it’s always quieter than any other ipod. For example, I had a friend over and he had the same exact ipod (nano 3g) and when we played the same song on a speaker system…same volume on both the ipod and speakers, his was about twice as loud. I’ve noticed that my ipod is always quiet when i play it either through my headphones or speaker docks even when the volume is up to the max. Is there something wrong with it because everywhere i seem to play it…whether in the weight room or anywhere else it is not just me that’s noticing how quiet it is.

i had this problem with my ipod touch 2g

go into the settings and look around in the different sections. you should come across something that says volume limit go into that and turn it right up if it isn’t.

if it still doesn’t work then maybe your ipod is broken or something.

      i hope this helps.

    Which iPod should I get?
I posted a question yesterday and mentioned me getting a new iPod around Christmas time. It’s between the 16gb iPod Nano (5G) and an 8gb or a 16gb iPod Touch (3G?).

Anyways, both have their pros and cons for me. Since I’m the worst at making decisions on electronic things, I’d like to ask the community for help. I’m going to list pros and cons for each though =]

    iPod Touch

    Pros:
    Touch Screen
    Bigger screen for videos
    Apps
    Wi-Fi

    Cons:
It’s almost as big as my iPod Classic weight wise.
It seems like I’d break it easily.
    Running/Working out… seems a bit heavy.
The 16gb costs as much as my Xbox 360 did ($299)

    iPod Nano

    Pros:
Cost of 16gb is only $179
    Size and Weight
    Easier to run/workout with

    Cons:
Small screen to watch videos on (But the 5G has a 2.2″ inch screen, does it help any?)
No apps or anything like that.

So yeah, I like both iPods due to small size on one, but the other has amazing features. The only thing holding me back from the iTouch is the 16GB is $299 when I can get a 16GB Nano for $179.

    Help me? =P
Also, the reason for the screen problems is because I want to put iCarly on my iPod haha

      The 32gb touch is $299.

I personally would get that because you have many more features.

But then again there is no camera so…….

      Pick internet OR camera.

I have the 4 gen. nano and the screen size is fine for videos like iCarly and the 5 gen screen is slightly bigger.

When will the jailbreak for 4.0.2 version of the Ipod touch come out?
I accdently updated my ipod 3g to 4.0.2 and I can’t jailbreak it unless it is 4.0.1 or lower. So I’m stuck with a paper weight until the new jailbreak comes out. So can anyone please tell me when it will come out?

Also I tried downgrading to 4.0.1 but I don’t have my “SHSH blobs” saved so I don’t think I can downgrade. So is there any other way I can downgrade without having the SHSH blobs?

P.S how long does it take normally for a new jailbreak to come out?
